ilaX is a space where passion meets profession. A place for creatives, social entrepreneurs & industry leaders to talk social change.
They are excited to invite you to the first ilaX event in London. And the official launch of ila! Join them at The Old. St Gallery on 62 Paul St, EC2A 4NA.
ila aims to shed light on gender inequality and how it leads to gender-based violence. We do this by bringing together a community of young, socially-driven individuals, purposeful brands and sexual violence survivors to make a difference. The ilaX events, inspired by TedX with a gender lens, are at the core of this interaction. But any great vision starts with 'The First Step', which just happens to be the theme of our launch.
The speakers are individuals who decided to make a difference and raise their voice for change. Individuals like you and me who created their own paths; people who have inspired and are ready to be inspired. Who knows? You might be our next speaker.
For this ilaX, we're excited to announce our guest speakers:
Ben Hurst - Campaigner against toxic masculinity. Ben heads up the Training & Facilitation for The Good Lad Initiative, an organization that aims to change the way men think about gender. He's also previously talked at TEDxLondon Women.
