Can Anyone Hear Me? is a series of two, one-day summits raising awareness of the challenges and the symptoms of depression faced by young adults with mental health issues, truly giving young adults a voice!
In association with The Lucy Rayner Foundation www.thelucyraynerfoundation.com
Hosted at the iconic Shard building in London Bridge, each summit will include a schedule of presentations from Young Voices, Charities, Schools, Universities and Associations along with panel debates, film clips and Question Time plus break-out space and lunch followed by networking and drinks.
Record levels of young people are struggling. Academic pressure, social media, bullying, poverty, lack of availability of professional mental health support have all been named as contributing to this epidemic of poor mental health in our young people. It’s clear that young people are not getting the support they need. Key figures in a young person’s life – parents, family members, teachers, tutors, carers, youth workers – can often spot when a young person is struggling but may not know how best to help. These summits keep the conversation going, sharing stories, best practise and offer you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person and guide them towards the support they need. Be part of the conversation!
IT IS FREE FOR YOUNG ADULTS!!
